Examiner-level support makes the pathway less guesswork

Many students underestimate what happens after a course ends. STOTT PILATES® certification requires coursework, required hours, written preparation, practical preparation, and the ability to demonstrate safe, clear and responsible teaching.

Because Pilatique’s faculty includes Instructor Trainers and Examiners, students can receive clearer guidance on preparation standards, teaching quality, practice expectations and readiness before sitting for certification exams.

Less uncertainty after course

Students are guided on what to practise, how to review, and what teaching quality is expected before exam readiness.

Stronger required-hour planning

Observation, physical review and practice teaching become more meaningful when students understand how they connect to exam standards.

More confident teaching development

Students are not left to memorise choreography alone. They are guided toward cueing, correction, modification and decision-making.

How Pilatique helps students feel supported

Serious students do not only need course access. They need a clear pathway, preparation advice, review structure and a team that helps them understand what to do next.

Before enrolment

We help you understand prerequisites, readiness, course sequence and whether the STOTT PILATES® pathway fits your goals.

During course

Students are guided through repertoire, movement principles, teaching skills, apparatus setup, cueing and correction.

After course

Students receive direction on review options, required-hour planning, exam preparation and continuing education.

As you begin teaching

The goal is to help students build confidence, judgment and professional responsibility — not just attend a course.

Pilatique view: a demanding certification pathway should still feel clear and supported. Students should know what they are working toward, what to practise, and when to ask for help.

I completed the 10-day Intensive Cadillac, Chair and Barrels (ICCB) course with Melissa at Pilatique in July, and it was an incredibly rewarding learning experience. Melissa has a deep understanding of the STOTT Pilates repertoire and teaching methodology. She explains concepts clearly, demonstrates exercises with precision, and breaks down even complex movements into manageable steps. Her teaching is structured, patient, and easy to follow, creating a supportive environment where questions are always welcomed. What I appreciated most was her developmental approach. She challenged us to think critically about programming, observation, and cueing, while always providing constructive feedback that built both our skills and confidence. Melissa genuinely wants her students to succeed and goes the extra mile to ensure everyone understands not just how to teach an exercise, but why it is taught that way. I am grateful for her encouragement, professionalism, and generosity in sharing her knowledge throughout the course. I would highly recommend Melissa to anyone pursuing STOTT Pilates education.

Just finished my IR training today with Gretel!! Honestly before joining, I was quite not ready because I knew it’s gonna be alot new things to remember and understand within this 10-days course. Training was indeed intense but overall I quite satisfied with the amount of useful knowledge I gained from this course! Special highlight to Gretel here, we love her! Love the way how she breakdown the exercises and guide us step by step, she focus alot on understanding the body and movement for practical teaching purposes, not just follow the manuals and teach us for exam only, hope to join her training again in the future! The studio vibes very warm and we practice with amazing view, beautiful sunshine and blue skies everyday ☀️ I will definitely recommend Pilatique to whoever wants to deepen their pilates practice. Can’t wait to continue more training courses with them🤍
