Extra Support for STOTT PILATES® Course and Exam Preparation in Singapore
Updated: March 2026 · Pilatique Singapore — STOTT PILATES® Licensed Training Centre since 2008
Some students want more familiarity before a course. Others want more structure after a course, or more guided preparation before an exam. Pilatique offers focused student support for those who want extra clarity, practice and guidance at the right stage of their STOTT PILATES® journey.
Direct answer
This page is for students who want additional support before a STOTT PILATES® course, after a course, or while preparing for an exam in Singapore. It is not a promise of exam success, and it is not designed as a one-size-fits-all package. The right support depends on your background, timeline, weak areas, readiness and goals.
- Suitable for Pilatique students and selected external STOTT PILATES® students.
- Best approached through enquiry first, so we can guide you to the most appropriate next step.
- Focused on structure, clarity, preparation and responsible progression.
Who this support is for
Not every student needs extra support. Many do well through the standard learning pathway. But some students benefit from additional guided sessions, especially when the stakes are high, the timeline is tight, or they simply want to prepare more responsibly.
Students who want more familiarity before starting
- You are new to the work and want more preparation before entering a course.
- You want a clearer understanding of key principles, movement quality and expectations.
- You want to start your course with better structure rather than feeling overwhelmed on day one.
Students who need more integration after learning
- You completed a course but still feel you need more guided practice.
- You want help turning theory and repertoire into something more usable and structured.
- You want more feedback before moving forward to the next stage.
Students who want more preparation before sitting an exam
- You want a more organised run-through of what to work on.
- You know the exam matters and want to prepare with better structure and feedback.
- You want guidance on readiness, not empty reassurance or unrealistic promises.
Pre/Post Course Preparation
This support option is for students who want more guidance before a course begins or after a course ends. Some students realise through movement assessment or early practice that they need more help. Others simply prefer to prepare properly instead of waiting until confusion builds up.
The purpose is not to create dependency. The purpose is to give the student more structure, more familiarity and a better platform for learning. In a serious professional pathway, there is no shame in preparing well.
What it may help with
- Understanding key principles more clearly before a course starts.
- Feeling less intimidated by the pace and expectations of training.
- Practising with more direction after a course, instead of just repeating movements without clarity.
- Building a stronger base for future learning, observation and self-practice.
What it is not
- It is not a shortcut around course requirements.
- It is not a substitute for attendance, study or personal effort.
- It is not automatically necessary for every student.
- It is not something we push on everyone. It is there when more support is genuinely needed or wanted.
Exam Preparation Support
Exam preparation support is for students who want more guidance, structure and feedback as they work toward a STOTT PILATES® exam. For some, this means a single session to identify blind spots. For others, it may mean a more structured package with guided sessions and self-practice.
What matters most is suitability. We may need to understand which exam you are taking, when you plan to take it, what your recent course history looks like, how much preparation you have already done, and what your real weak areas are before advising properly.

How Pilatique approaches this support
Supportive, not pushy
We do not believe every student needs extra sessions. This support exists for students who truly want or need more help, not as something to push on the whole cohort.
Structured, not robotic
We keep the page and package descriptions broad enough to preserve flexibility. Real support works best when it is adapted to the individual, not forced into a rigid template.
Responsible, not overpromising
We are careful about expectations. Not every student is equally ready, equally fast to learn, or equally close to exam readiness. Good guidance tells the truth while still being encouraging.
Focused on standards
The wider goal is to support stronger, safer and better-prepared students through the full STOTT PILATES® journey — before, during and after courses and exams.
Important Notes Before You Enquire
- Support is tailored. The right option depends on your history, readiness, timeline and weak areas.
- Packages and sessions do not guarantee exam outcomes.
- We may advise something different from what you first had in mind.
- We may also advise waiting, building fundamentals first, or choosing another route if that is more appropriate.
- All sessions are 55 minutes. Packages have expiry dates and are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this only for Pilatique students?
Not necessarily. We welcome enquiries from Pilatique students and selected external STOTT PILATES® students as well. Suitability depends on your current stage, course history, exam context and what kind of support you actually need.
Will this guarantee that I pass my exam?
No. We do not guarantee exam results. We provide structure, guidance and feedback to help you prepare more responsibly. Your consistency, ownership, readiness and execution still matter.
How do I know whether I need Pre/Post Course Prep or Exam Prep?
Many students do not know at first, and that is normal. The best first step is to message us with your course level, recent course history, intended exam, timeline and weak areas. We can then guide you toward the most suitable next step.
Can I book the discounted Pre/Post Course Prep package before my course slot is confirmed?
Please enquire with us first. The discounted course prep package is tied to course payment and timing conditions, so it is best to let the team advise you based on your actual status rather than assume eligibility too early.
What if I only want one session first?
That may be possible, especially for exam prep where a single private session is available. However, whether one session is enough depends on the student. Some need a simple spot check. Others need more structured support.
Is this the same as a normal private Pilates session?
Not quite. These sessions are more specifically framed around student preparation, clarity and guidance within the STOTT PILATES® pathway. The focus is not general fitness. It is more targeted to learning, readiness and progression.
What should I send when I enquire?
The more context, the better. Ideally include your last course taken, intended exam or next course, your timeline, your weak areas, how much preparation you have already done, and what kind of help you feel you need.
Not sure what support you need?
Message our team and tell us where you are in your STOTT PILATES® journey. We will help you understand whether extra support is appropriate, and if so, which next step makes the most sense.
Best for students who want clarity before deciding. Please include your course history, intended exam or next course, timeline and weak areas where possible.
