Jacinda

STOTT PILATES® Instructor

Jacinda teaches Pilates with a calm, precise coaching style built around control, alignment, and intelligent movement. With a foundation in yoga practice and teaching, she was drawn to Pilates for its strong anatomical framework and measurable progress — the kind that shows up in your posture, your strength, and how you move in everyday life.

Her sessions are designed to help clients build durable strength, improve posture, and develop movement habits that are sustainable — whether you’re new to Pilates, returning after a break, or looking to move with better efficiency and confidence.

Role & Expertise

Coaching focus

Precision-based Pilates that improves posture, core strength, stability, and whole-body awareness — so movement feels more organised, efficient, and confident.

Quality-over-quantity method

Jacinda prioritises movement quality over “more reps”. Expect thoughtful cueing, clear progressions, and the kind of control that supports long-term physical health and injury prevention.

Best fit

Clients who want a structured, mindful, and challenging session — including beginners, desk-bound professionals working on posture, and anyone who wants better movement habits that carry into daily life.

Background

Jacinda’s Pilates journey began with a simple realisation: the body can feel strong and capable — but still move in ways that create strain over time. Coming from a yoga background, she appreciated the awareness yoga develops, yet found Pilates offered a uniquely precise system for correcting imbalances through control, alignment, and intelligent sequencing.

Pilates refined her movement patterns and deepened her understanding of how the body moves efficiently. Over time, her own experiences recovering from injuries and addressing postural stress developed during her corporate career shaped her coaching lens: progress should be safe, specific, and sustainable — not random or exhausting.

She loves how Pilates challenges both the body and the mind. It demands focus, control, and intention — and that is exactly what makes it so transferable to real life: standing taller, moving with less effort, and building strength that supports you outside the studio.

By blending Pilates structure with yoga-informed awareness, Jacinda brings a well-rounded, inclusive teaching style. Her classes are challenging yet accessible, always grounded in care, clarity, and respect for individual starting points. Her goal is to help clients move with confidence, feel stronger and more balanced, and connect more deeply with their own bodies.
