Gretel is a movement educator and STOTT PILATES® Instructor Trainer who develops aspiring Pilates instructors through mindful movement, biomechanics, and teaching clarity. With a foundation in Classical Ballet and broad experience across Barre, Yoga, and multiple dance genres, she helps instructors and clients build control, awareness, and progression without noise or over-complication.

Background
Gretel is an avid movement practitioner trained in Classical Ballet, Barre, Yoga, and Pilates. Growing up as a dancer and exploring multiple dance genres shaped her sensitivity to movement quality — how strength, coordination, and control show up across different patterns.
Over the years, exposure to varied movement and fitness disciplines sparked a deeper curiosity in biomechanics and how bodies learn. This curiosity led her into Pilates as a practitioner and educator — and in 2024, she became a STOTT PILATES® Instructor Trainer.
She began teaching in 2013 as a dance teacher, then transitioned into the fitness space in 2017 as a Barre instructor and training manager. She has worked with a wide range of age groups and client profiles, including pre and post-natal mothers, and is passionate about helping people understand their bodies better through mindful movement.
