About Pilatique Singapore
Pilatique Singapore is a Pilates studio built for people who want more than exercise for exercise’s sake. We help clients move better, understand their bodies more clearly, and build strength with more purpose — especially when pain, stiffness, injury history, postural decline, or long-term physical goals are part of the picture.
We are not a volume-led class business. Pilatique is built around Private (1:1) and Duet (2:1) Pilates instruction, where movement can be observed properly, cueing can be more precise, and progression can be guided with more judgement.
That matters because better outcomes rarely come from doing more random exercises. They usually come from doing the right things, in the right order, with the right level of support.
- A Singapore Pilates studio focused on Private and Duet instruction
- Rehab-centric in how movement is observed, taught, and progressed
- Education-led in standards, judgement, and instructor development
- Built for people who value clarity, safety, and long-term movement outcomes
Who we are
Pilatique Singapore is a rehab-centric Pilates studio. That does not mean every client is a medical case. It means the studio is built around a more thoughtful way of teaching movement — one that respects injury history, movement quality, load tolerance, and the reality that not every body should be progressed the same way.
We specialise in Private and Duet Pilates because these formats allow better movement observation, more precise cueing, and more responsible progression. That is especially valuable when the goal is not just to “work out,” but to move with more confidence and less confusion.
Pilatique is for people who want a more professional, structured, and rehab-aware way to learn and practise Pilates — not just a class to tick a box.
How it started
The Pilatique brand has been building since 2005, beginning in Malaysia before growing into Singapore. From early on, the brand developed with a strong rehabilitation lens, shaped in part by a team culture that hired predominantly physiotherapists and built its work around more careful movement reasoning.
That background matters because it explains why Pilatique does not treat Pilates as random choreography or generic fitness. The brand was shaped around the idea that movement should be taught with more precision, more responsibility, and more respect for how real bodies break down and rebuild over time.
Pilatique’s history is not here to sound impressive. It matters because it helps explain why the studio thinks differently about pain, recovery, progression, and long-term movement outcomes.
What we believe
We believe Pilates works best when it is applied with judgement.
Movement should make more sense, not less
If exercise leaves you more confused, more reactive, or constantly second-guessing what is safe, the answer is usually not more volume. It is better teaching and better progression.
Progress should be earned, not rushed
We value structure, repeatability, and tolerance. Good progression is not built on showing off difficult exercises too early. It is built on giving the body something it can actually sustain.
Private attention changes decision quality
When the instructor can actually see how you move, changes can be made in real time. That often makes the difference between repeating compensations and building real improvement.
Pilates is not random variety
The value is not in doing more and more different things. The value is in selecting the right movement challenge at the right time, for the right reason.
Who we help
Pilatique works with people who want clearer guidance, stronger movement foundations, and a more sustainable relationship with movement.
People dealing with pain or stiffness
Especially when movement has become hesitant, inconsistent, or difficult to trust.
Beginners who want to start properly
Not with guesswork, but with clearer guidance and a more structured first step.
Adults rebuilding after setbacks
Whether after injury, surgery, time away from movement, or repeated failed attempts to “just get back into it.”
People who value quality over volume
If you care more about better movement and better judgement than crowded classes or random routines, you are likely in the right place.

Why Pilatique is built around Private & Duet sessions
Private and Duet Pilates are not “premium” formats just for the sake of positioning. They are more effective formats when you care about movement quality, symptom response, and real progression.
More individual movement observation
The instructor can actually see how you move, not just whether you completed the exercise. That improves instruction quality immediately.
More precise progressions
Load, complexity, pace, and support can be adjusted based on your body’s response instead of being dictated by group flow.
Better fit for rehab-centric clients
When pain, stiffness, movement restrictions, or history matter, shared attention is often the wrong starting point.
Clearer accountability
You understand what you are doing, why you are doing it, and what progress should look like.
Licensed Training Centre standards
Pilatique is not just a client-facing studio. It is also part of the wider Pilates education ecosystem. As a STOTT PILATES® Licensed Training Centre, Pilatique operates from a deeper education base than many studios.
Since 2005, the brand has helped train more than 1,000 students under the STOTT PILATES® system. Many have gone on to work in the industry, join studios, or open studios of their own.
For clients, that matters because Pilatique’s perspective is shaped not only by studio sessions, but also by years of instructor education and standards-setting. It reflects a culture built on judgement, not shortcuts.
Education-led culture
Pilatique’s standards are shaped by continual learning, not complacent repetition.
Higher instruction consistency
When instructor development is taken seriously, clients feel the difference in how sessions are explained, progressed, and adapted.
