Biography
Gretel Lee
Gretel is an avid movement practitioner formally trained in Classical Ballet, Barre, Yoga, and Pilates. She’s grown up as a dancer dabbling in genres including Tango, Jazz, Latin, and Contemporary dance. Having been exposed to a variety of movement and fitness genres over the last 20 years has piqued her interest in the biomechanics of movement and has eventually led her to this point as a Pilates practitioner, instructor, and most recently in 2024, a STOTT PILATES® Instructor Trainer.
She started her teaching journey in 2013 as a dance teacher, then transitioned to a Barre instructor and training manager in 2017. Gretel has worked with a variety of age groups and clientele, including pre and post-natal mothers. She is passionate about empowering clients to understand their bodies better through mindful movement.
In her role as a STOTT PILATES® Instructor Trainer and movement educator, she endeavours to nurture aspiring Pilates instructors and bring them up to the next level.
Gretel believes in the joy that movement brings and hopes to share this with clients in her classes and anyone keen to further their knowledge in their Pilates journey.
